Overview:

Are Ophthalmologists litigation-proof? Is anyone? This program will focus on methods for assessing and minimizing your risk, as well as discuss practical pointers for how to survive (and thrive!) when faced with a lawsuit.


Objectives:

Upon completion of this Internet live activity, participants will be better able to:
  • Identify risk issues from a review of emerging trends across multiple ophthalmology specialties and medical malpractice claims
  • Strengthen factors that will reduce the likelihood of litigation
  • Analyze what to expect and develop methods for successfully navigating a lawsuit or Board matter

CME Credits:

Each Physician program is worth a maximum of two CME Credits, commensurate with the extend of your participation in the program.


Please note: You MUST participate in the entire program to quality for a 5% discount and CME Credits.

Important Reminder: The Maryland Board of Physicians require physicians to keep records of Continuing Medical Education (CME) credit hours for six years. Additionally, they suggest double checking you have met the CME requirement before renewal time.
