Jeffrey M. Poole has been named President and Chief Executive Officer of the MEDICAL MUTUAL Liability Insurance Society of Maryland by the company’s Board of Directors. He succeeds David L. Murray, who retired February 17 after running the state’s largest medical liability insurance company for 21 years.

Malouf, Jr., M.D., Chair of the Board. “Previously serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Jeff has kept the company efficient and responsive to its Policyholders.  Given his wealth of experience in all aspects of malpractice insurance, we are confident this transition will be seamless.”

Mr. Poole is a graduate of Auburn University and received his M.B.A. degree from the University of Baltimore. He holds the Chartered Property/Casualty Underwriter designation.
